Dr. Yu Zhang was invited to give a talk on the research of Advanced Air Mobility/Urban Air Mobility at USF in Korea Transport Institute (KOTI) Forum on Urban Air Mobility (UAM) held on Dec. 16. It is part of the 34th US-Korea Conference (UKC) on Science, Technology, and Entrepreneurship.
Dr. Yu Zhang presented in the plenary session of "UAS Efforts in Florida" at Florida Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Virtual Workshop organized by FHWA, FDOT, and Florida LATP Center on Nov. 2nd, 2021. Dr. Yu Zhang presented at Business of Automated Mobility Forum organized by AUVSI and SAE on Nov. 2nd, 2021. The title is "Environmental Impact Analysis of On-Demand Urban Air Mobility: A case study of Tampa Bay Area".https://www.bam-forum.org/agenda
Vahid Mahmoodian is a PhD student co-advised by Dr. Yu Zhang and Dr. Hadi Charkhgard. Vahid graduated in May 2021 with PhD degree in Industry and Management System Engineering. His dissertation title is "Theory and Algorithms for Systems Optimization".
Natalia Barbour accepted the offer from TU Delft and will join in the Department of Technology, Policy, and Management of the Dutch university in December 2020 as an Assistant Professor. Congratulations!
Prof. Yu Zhang is serving as the Managing Guest Editor for Special Issue: "Embracing Urban Air Mobility" to be published in Transportation Research Part C: Emerging Technologies.

Mar. 2020: Prof. Yu Zhang appears in TRB2020 Highlight "A century of Progress Foundation for the Future". She attended Workshop on Urban Air Mobility during TRB Annual Meeting 2020 and discussed planning and implementation issues of this emerging transportation mode.
Jan. 2020: Prof. Yu Zhang is elected as the President of WTS Tampa Bay Chapter and her team starts Jan. 2020.

Dec. 2019: Yuan Wang graduated from USF with the PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Her dissertation is "Dynamic Prediction of Runway Configuration and Airport Acceptance Rate".
